Was it the caller ID that was correct or did they leave a number in the VM?

Spoofing of numbers is so widespread and the scammers have gotten wise. I got a call from Chase (I have credit card through them). The caller ID was a legit Chase number, although it was for their European Div (flag). Today, I assume every call I get that isn't from my wife (and half that are from my wife) are scam calls and treat them accordingly.
